Amy was born and raised in Marietta, Georgia and can't see herself living anywhere else. She spent four years in the small town of Dahlonega where she attended North Georgia College and State University, the Military College of Georgia. While she was never in the military, she did enjoy the unique traditions and atmosphere that could only be found in the small college town. She graduated from North Georgia in May 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and is glad to be back in the real world. She enjoys cooking and being outdoors whether boating on Lake Allatoona or taking her dogs Zoey and Lexi to the dog park. She has a love for travel, which she inherited from her mom, and hopes one day to go to Australia. When she's not traveling, cooking, or spending time outdoors, Amy loves watching ice hockey, both professional and the recreational league her dad plays in, and is often amazed when she finds someone else in Georgia who likes ice hockey, too!

When Amy started college, she planned on getting a degree in Education and teaching 3rd grade, but one education class later she found out it wasn't for her. She enrolled in a law class and soon she decided she would get her degree in Criminal Justice.
