
Gabe Knisely

Biography
Gabe Knisely is a former federal court clerk who focuses his practice on medical malpractice, catastrophic personal injuries and wrongful death cases. Gabe enjoys representing people facing complex problems and helping them achieve winning solutions.
Gabe earned his J.D. with honors from Emory University School of Law where he represented the University in both National and International Competition. As the lead prosecutor and then coach of Emory’s International Criminal Court Team he helped Emory qualify two years in a row for the prestigious international rounds at the Hague. In recognition of Gabe’s advocacy skills, Gabe was inducted into the Order of the Barristers, an honor limited to less than ten graduates per year.
After law school, Gabe served as a law clerk for two years in the chambers of the Honorable Sr. Judge Louis Sands in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Georgia. During his tenure as a federal court law clerk, Gabe not only had a front-row seat to the daily operations of a federal chambers and a federal courtroom, but also the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Through this experience Gabe gained significant insight into what makes for effective courtroom advocacy and refined his research and writing skills on nuanced legal issues in complex criminal and civil litigation.
Before joining Warshauer Woodward Atkins, Gabe worked at one of the oldest boutique law firms in the State of Georgia, practicing both civil and criminal law. Gabe enjoys leveraging his criminal law background to maximize pressure on civil defendants and achieve winning solutions for his clients.
Gabe is an active member of the Atlanta legal community and enjoys attending functions hosted by the Federal Bar Association, the State Bar of Georgia Young Lawyers Division, the Atlanta Bar Association, and the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association.
Gabe loves being a trial lawyer and going to Court. He is also an avid fly fisherman and is involved in a number of charities dedicated towards preserving Georgia’s waterways and Georgia’s unique biodiversity.
