Gary W. Sergent serves as Chief Operating Officer of Warshauer Woodward Atkins, providing strategic leadership for the firm’s operations, finance, administration, technology, and organizational planning. He works closely with the firm’s partners, attorneys, and professional staff to strengthen the systems and resources that support exceptional client service.

Gary brings more than 30 years of leadership experience across corporate, higher education, nonprofit, and professional service organizations. His career includes leadership roles with AT&T and the University of Georgia, where he managed complex financial and operational functions, multimillion-dollar budgets, strategic initiatives, technology implementations, and organizational improvement efforts. Gary also holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification, reflecting his commitment to process improvement and operational excellence.

A native of West Virginia, Gary enjoys traveling, cheering on UGA sports, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.
